I always end up saying the same things when I try to write about loscil. "Tense," "calm," "energy," "gentle," "goddamn amazing," etc. There is much familiarity to be found here from various pieces of his back catalogue, yet these four pieces still sound and feel new, and LUX Refractions is forward movement. It's tense and ener- aw hell.
